I Bet Santa Clause Was Expected At Your House Recently

Santa Claus just visited billions of homes in December. Did he visit yours?
How did you learn about Santa? Most learn by word of mouth. Parents pass on the information from the time you were born. I love telling my grandchildren stories about why we have Christmas and Santa. I have to teach them just where Santa plays a role in our Christmas celebrations.

To reinforce Santa, you see posters, billboards, commercials, and online advertising all about he is watching to see if you have been naughty or nice. Which ever you have been all depends on what you will receive. Well, that is what our parents wanted us to believe. I tell the grandchildren, that the naughtier they have been, the larger the lump of coal they will get in their stocking. So far, none have received a lump of coal.

Even if Santa wasn't plastered everywhere we go, we would still celebrate Christmas or the holidays. It wouldn't be a beautiful. People wouldn't have displays of Santa and his reindeer out in their yards. The multitude of blowups would not be bouncing around the front yards of many. All the commercials would be different. Not sure what they would be about other than selling items. The stores wouldn't make as much  during the holidays. People would still buy gifts as they would for a birthday but the excitement would be gone. It is possible, people would not go broke as they do now.

Now lets take it down a peg.

Say it's election year. You have people running for government positions.

Do you just go to the voting place on election day and just pick any name off a piece of paper? Can a name and a name alone convince you that you are choosing the best candidate to run your country, state, or township office?

How do you choose?

It again involves advertising.

The candidates constantly bombard us with  ads,  flyers, commercials and political calls. All of these help us to choose which person we feel is the best choice.

What is my point with all of this?

Well, here it is.

How are people going to get to know you?

I know I'll never be a huge as Santa Claus, heaven help me if I ever get as fat as he is. I say that as I am eating a fresh salad. Mostly lettuce.

Millions of people will never know me as well as they do a  candidate running for an office.

Even if I can't get that well known out in the public view, I can make myself as popular online as I possibly can.

I will seek out avenues to promote and increase my chances of being seen and recognized.

You will find my picture on a great deal of my ads so people will begin to recognize that they have seen me before or that they know me. Maybe even get tired of seeing it.

You will know me. The social world and business sites are going to know Barb Ross.

It has already begun. My downlines are increasing.  I am benefiting from my advertising, but always need more, fresh leads.

I am always on the look out for more ways to advertise. I know there are zillions of people online that have never heard of Barb Ross. Each and every new view of my advertisements I get could possibly mean a new referral to a site.

You know, I may never get rich working online, most people won't, but I am making my place in internet history. I have made lots of friends and I have already made my niche. If you look up Barb Ross, I am on the front page of google already. I am not the first one you see or even the second, but I am there.

I would love to help you get there too.

Follow my Who is Barb Ross blog. Join my business's. Trust me. I love helping others.

I hope you do find some useful information from my blog. Something that makes you stop and think about what you are doing. Something that helps you maybe make your niche and start earning online too.

Happy New Year 2013

Hi Friends,

The New Year is has just started? Were  you ready?

Did you spruce up your advertising to enable you to use the newest trends out there?

Are you getting results? Are you presenting it in a way to get others attention? If not, take a look at how others are advertising.

It doesn't matter if it's advertising, a site, an item, a matrix or yourself. If you don't present it in a way to get the attention of the people you are putting it in front of, you are not going to get people to click on your link and visit your site.

Are you using the same old advertising pages everyone else is using, ho hum on those after awhile. Or Ba Humbug. I am tired of seeing the same advertising again and again. You really need to ask yourself. Do those pages express anything about you? No, they are cold pages put together most of the time by someone you don't know and it's them that is being sold, not you. Sometimes your special page may even have their picture on it. Do you really want them to trust that person or  you?

Have you ever put together a splash page?

Do you know what is needed?

If not, Where Do You Start?

You Want Your Ad to Be Seen. What can you do to catch the viewers eye?

Headlines are the most important. Without a good headline, people will not notice your site.  You need an Eye Catcher. What catches your attention as you are surfing through websites?

Then you need 3 good reasons why they should check out your business.

Keep it short and sweet. I will not give a long page full of information even a short look. I click right on by it. Most do. Most people don't want to read all the facts about a site the first time they are viewing information on it.

What are 3 good reasons?

Why did you join the site. I am sure there were some good things that caught your eye. Something sold you on it. If not, then why are you doing it?

If you have a photo of yourself, this is an excellent addition to the page, plus some other graphic if you have room. Don't over fill the page. It has to load fast and be quick and easy to read.

Now, you don't know where to start with any of the above?

I know an excellent site that will help you make your first splash page.

You can use it as a free member or upgrade. As with any product, you get more if you upgrade. If you don't upgrade, you are only allowed one free splash page.

Just click here to go to the site and check it out.

Then one more thing. As you are considering what you want to say on your splash, remember to type the same way you talk. If you word your ads as if you are talking to a friend, not like a salesperson, your ads will be of more interest to people viewing them.

I love teaching, and that is what I hope to do with this blog.

I want to help you to earn on line. Not just surf from sun up to sun down. I want you to earn. I want you to succeed.

To do that you need to advertise. Then it's back to the top. You need a splash page.

Thanks for taking time to read this. If I have helped you in any way, then I have achieved my goal for today. Hopefully will help out even more tomorrow.

My Grand Children

I would like to introduce my grandchildren. On the left is the oldest Jasmine. Next to her is the boy Drake, then Hannah who is only 2 months younger then Jasmine and leaning down to pick up a dust mop is one year old Oliva. This is cleaning day at grandma's and they all want to help. I am not making them do it. Really I'm not. They are happy. LOL

Who Am I?

I am really just a very quiet person that has learned how to talk and deal with people online. Meet me face to face and see me turn red if you even talk to me.

I have never been an out going person, but being online has helped me come out of my shell quite a bit. I have been online for 25 years.

I have learned a few ways to actually earn online. Took me awhile, but I am earning and still learning. I have recently started joining some of the passive earning sites. I was a big skeptic at first, lost money in some, but have 4 I am currently working and earning in all 4.

Through all my online adventures, I have met a lot of interesting people from all over the world and I love it. In school I never enjoyed learning about other countries from a book, but learning it here by talking to people is fascinating. I chat to people all the time and sometimes forget to work.

I am a Christian. I love going to church and being around my friends on Sundays. I have taught Sunday school but now I am leaving that to the younger ones with more patience.

I come from a family of singers and love to sing. My parents are now 82. I wish I had done something while they were a little younger. Gotten our whole family together to sing in church. My parents would have loved it. I have 3 brothers and we all have decent voices.

I also come from a background of writers. I have my own website of poems and short stories I have written. I also have another blog I do by myself, a wordpress one on Internet Marketing Knowledge. If interested, please check it out.

The out of doors is my joy. Cutting grass and working in gardens is fun. Swimming with the grand kids is fun. I have 7 grandchildren. I am their babysitter while their parents work, so I have my hands full. This is an update from the original posting of only 4 grandchildren. We have had 3 more births. Now have Jasmine and Hannah who are 7 and are in first grade. Are also both very good soccer players. Then there is 5 year old Drake who is in kindergarten.  He is all boy and also loves playing soccer. Next little sweetie, Olivia. She is just turned 5 and is a real sweet heart. She is in a head start program for speech difficulties. Then Zoe is almost 3 years old. Then come the twins. They are now 2 years old. Full of mischief too. They grow up so fast. I don't watch the twins, I am getting a little too old to watch that many young ones.

I am married, and been married for 36 years. It is rare to say they have all been good happy years. I have an adorable husband.

I have 4 wonderful children, 2 girls and two boys. They are all grown up now. Youngest just turned 23 on Oct 9th. He is now a college graduate. Has a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice. All my children have done well, my oldest daughter is a nurse, my other son works in a chemical processing field where they clean aircraft parts then my other daughter is looking to return to school to move up in life. I am proud of all my children.

I was born in Wilmington Delaware but now reside in Ohio.

I am fun, I love people, and I helping others is a goal of mine.

I get to chatting with people and sometimes forget to work. I don't really think that is a problem, it's a joy. I will eventually get to work.

Thanks for reading and learning more about me.
