Santa, Was He Expected At Your House?

Santa Claus just visited millions of homes this past month. How did you learn about Santa? Most learn by word of mouth. Parents pass on the information from the time you were born and even now, if able, talk about him.

To reinforce Santa, you see posters, billboards, commercials, and online advertising all about he is watching to see if you have been naughty or nice. Which ever you have been all depends on what you will receive. Well, that is what our parents wanted us to believe.

Even if Santa wasn't plastered all over the place, we would still celebrate Christmas or the holidays. It wouldn't be a beautiful though. People wouldn't have Santa and his reindeer out in their yards. The multitude of blowups would not exist. A lot of advertising would be gone. The stores would make a lot less during the holidays. There would still be the purchases of gifts, but a lot of the excitement would be gone.

Now lets downsize things a bit.

Say it's election year. You have people running for office what ever that office may be.

Do you just go to the poles on election day and pick a name off a piece of paper? Can a name and a name alone sell you on who is going to run your country, state, or local office?

How do you choose who to pick?

It all evolves again around advertising.

The canidates constantly bombard us with newspaper ads, mail flyers, commercials and phone calls. All of these lead us to a choice as to which person we feel is the best for the office.

What is my point with all of this?

Well, here it is.

What are you doing to get known?

I know I'll never be a big as Santa Claus, heaven help me if I ever get as fat as he is.

I'll also never get known as well as a canidate running for an office such as the US president.

Even if I can't get that well known out in the public view, I can make myself as well known online as it is possible to.

I will seek out resources to advertise and increase my chances of being seen and recognized.

I will put my picture, as much as I hate it, I will put it out there on my ads so that you will see my mug again and again. Maybe even get tired of seeing it.

But you will know me. The advertising community is going to know Barb Ross.

It has already started. My downlines are growing. I am getting results but always need many many more.

I am constantly looking for more ways to advertise. I need to get to people that I haven't got to before. New views means new signups.

You know, I may never get rich off the internet, most likely won't, but I am going to have my place in internet history. I have made many friends and I have already made my niche. If you look up Barb Ross, I am on the front page of google already. Not first or second, but there.

I want to help you get there also.

Hi Friends,

The New Year is fast approaching. Are you ready?

Have you moved up with your advertising to where you are breaking even or in profit yet?

If you are still not getting the results you want, maybe it has something to do with the way you are presenting your item.

It doesn't matter if it's advertising, a particular item, a matrix or yourself. If you don't present it in a way to get the attention of the people you are putting it in front of, you are not going to sell it.

Are you using the same old splash pages everyone else is using, ho hum on those after awhile. Or Ba Humbug. I am tired of seeing the same old pages over and over. You really need to true to yourself. Do those pages express anything about you? They are cold pages put together most of the time by someone you don't know and it's them that is being sold, not you.

Do you know how to put together a splash page?

Do you know what ingredients are needed?

So Where Do You Start?

You Want Your Ad to Be Seen not just glanced at.

The first thing you need is a good Headline. An Eye Catcher. What would catch your attention?

Then you need at least 3 main reasons why they should check out your site.

Keep it short. If I see a long page describing the site, I don't even read it. I hate reading long articles like this LOL

So at least 3 reasons:

Why did you join the site. I am sure there were some good things that caught your eye. Something sold you on it. If not, then why are you doing it?

If you have a photo of yourself, this is an excellent addition to the page, plus some other graphic if you have room. Don't over fill the page. It has to load fast and be quick and easy to read.

Now, you don't know where to start with any of the above?

I know an excellent site that guides you through the process.

You can use it as a free member or upgrade. As with any product, you get more if you upgrade.

Then one more thing. When you are thinking about what you want to say, remember to type the way you talk. If you talk as if you are talking to one of your friends, not trying to sell someone something, you will find people are much more willing to listen.

Splash pages are one thing you will learn a lot about in IssacG's book. They are important. They will help you earn. Now you need to learn how to make them, or pay out lots of money to someone else to make them for you.

My Grand Children

I would like to introduce my grandchildren. On the left is the oldest Jasmine. Next to her is the boy Drake, then Hannah who is only 2 months younger then Jasmine and leaning down to pick up a dust mop is one year old Oliva. This is cleaning day at grandma's and they all want to help. I am not making them do it. Really I'm not. They are happy. LOL

Who Am I?

I am really just a very quiet person that has learned how to talk and deal with people online. Meet me face to face and see me turn red if you even talk to me.

I have never been an out going person, but being online has helped me come out of my shell quite a bit. I have been online for 15 years.

I have learned a few ways to actually earn online. Took me awhile, but I am earning and still learning. At this time I have joined an incredible site that allows me to advertise to a group of people that have possibly never seen my ads before.

Through all my online adventures, I have met a lot of interesting people from all over the world and I love it. In school I never enjoyed learning about other countries from a book, but learning it here by talking to people is fascinating. I chat to people all the time and sometimes forget to work.

I am a Christian. I love going to church and being around my friends on Sundays. I have taught Sunday school but now I am leaving that to the younger ones with more patience.

I come from a family of singers and love to sing.

I also come from a background of writers. I have my own website of poems and short stories I have written. I plan on adding some of my grandmothers as soon as I get the okay from my dad.

The out of doors is my joy. Cutting grass and working in gardens is fun. Swimming with the grand kids is fun. I have 7 grandchildren. I am their babysitter while their parents work, so I have my hands full. This is an update from the original posting of only 4 grandchildren. We have had 3 more births. Now have Jasmine and Hannah who are 5 and getting ready to go to kindergarten this year. Are also both very good soccer players. Then there is 4 year old Drake. All boy and also playing soccer. Just completed his first season of play. All three were on same team. Next little sweetie, Olivia. She is 3 and a real sweet heart. Then Zoe is a year old. Just turned recently. She is working on learning to walk. They grow up so fast. Now we have the last two who are twins that were born last November 28th, 2010. A boy Kyler and a girl Kaylee. They are all adorable grandbabies. I don't always watch all 7, but when I do, having three in the ages of 1 and under is interesting and a challenge.

I am married, and been married for 33 years. Very happy.

I have 4 wonderful children, 2 girls and then 2 boys. They are all grown up now. Youngest just turned 20 on Oct 9th.

I was born in Wilmington Delaware but now reside in Ohio.

I am fun, I love people, and I love helping others.
